The Line Up

The Trouble Notes Traditional folk, gritty punk rock and tribal dance, a progressive world folk band known for their explosive energy. Formed in 2013 by violinist Bennet Cerven, their shows are packed full of surprises, adding to the energetic sounds at the heart of their repertoire. Picture yourself in at an awe inspiring venue in serene countryside. The melodies of the violin, guitar, and other instruments resonate through the air. The rhythm is infectious, and you find yourself swaying, tapping your feet, and losing track of time. The energy of the crowd amplifies the experience, leaveing you feeling exhilarated and inspired. Everyone that joins the universe of The Trouble Notes remains a part of it, often morphing from a normal concert-goer into a true Troublemaker

3 Daft Monkeys are known for their exhilarating live performances, blending a fiery mix of influences from East and West. Their music draws from Celtic, Balkan, Gypsy, Spanish, Cornish, and other world music traditions.

Their live shows have been praised by BBC Radio 2 hosts, and their dynamic style of world folk music will leave you breathless, enthralled, and exhilarated, pronounced the highlight of Glastonbury festival by Mark Radcliffe BBC

Black Friday, a high-energy Celtic folk band from St Germans in Cornwall, UK, delivers an electrifying concert experience. Picture yourself in an open-air festival—the air crackles with anticipation. The six-strong crew plays a foot-stomping mix of home-brew folk-punk and Celtic tunes, influenced by their Irish and Cornish roots. Their original songs and covers (think The Pogues and Flogging Molly) keep the crowd dancing all night. They’ve rocked Europe’s biggest festivals, including GlastonburyBoomtown, and Electric Picnic.

True foxes, an acclaimed  folk/americana family duo, are quickly gaining popularity in the South West and beyond. Amie, with her soulful vocals and earworm song writing, has been compared to artists such as Brandi Carlile, Karen Carpenter, and Dolly Parton, accompanied by guitar, ukulele, banjo, and piano. Chloë complements Amie's vocals with ethereal harmonies and melodic bass lines. The duo's sisterly banter adds an emotional dimension to their performances. If you're a fan of First Aid Kit and The Secret Sisters but with a touch of British influence, you'll definitely enjoy True Foxes.Referred to as the "Hardest working female duo in the South West" by BBC Introducing, the self-managed True Foxes performed an impressive 140 shows in 2022 and more than doubled that in 2023 with 250 shows. 2024 is already poised to be a busy year for the girls after releasing their highly anticipated debut album 'Howl' in March, and completing a sold out headline UK Tour.

  • The festival I went to was awesome.

A very impressive venue. Rustic with so much charm. Stunning sea views and breathtaking views of the surrounding farmland. It looks like they are still adding and improving to parts of the building and what they do have in terms of furniture was quirky and cute. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chilli, a burger from their bbq, and an impressive full English breakfast in the morning. Wow! We camped in the wild camping field. I was glad you could drive right up to your pitch. There was no issues with tent sizes, just rock up! Glad to find portaloos there too!The festival I went to was awesome. Summer solstice. Every artist was so good, especially Deluxx which ended the night on a high. I was glad they left the indoor toilets open as an alternative to the portaloos, even though there were plenty available. I thought the price, for the festival and camping was spot on. I can't wait to go again!

  • The food is great quality and reasonably priced

·We’ve been trying to visit for a while now but every time we’ve been there hasn’t been a free tables, today we got a table and now know why Sea View is so popular. The food is great quality and reasonably priced, the cake is definitely worth going for, staff are all so friendly, the bench tables promote a great atmosphere, lovely local crafts and produce in the shop and a visit from the goats was hilarious. Will certainly be back very soon and will be recommending to our guests.

  • The kind of breakfast that dreams are made of

Folks, gather round as I spin you the tale of Sea View Farm Shop, a veritable Eden nestled snugly between Port Isaac and Delabole, .....

Since then, I've been a regular, always opting for the Cornishmans Breakfast. Generously heaped with bacon, sausages, eggs, and all the trimmings that it could easily be mistaken for a feast laid out for Cornish royalty.

Sea View Farm Shop is also the summer spot for outdoor music events. But here's a pro tip: book your tickets faster than you'd save a seat at a sold-out concert.

In conclusion, Sea View Farm Shop isn't just a place to eat; it's a place to experience. The kind of spot you return to again, and again, and again. For the ambiance, the view, the tea, and the kind of breakfast that dreams are made of, this gets a resounding five stars from me. If you find yourself in Cornwall, do your senses a favor and drop by. You won't regret it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
